In Mr. Samlan’s intellectual property practice he works with clients on clearance, prosecution, and enforcement of trademarks. He regularly prepares and prosecutes trademark applications and assists in the management of global trademark portfolios. He advises clients on trademark protection in the United States and foreign jurisdictions covering over ninety countries. Mr. Samlan has considerable experience in e-commerce related intellectual property infringement matters including online maketplace infringement on Amazon, eBay and Alibaba. His experience also includes drafting and negotiating IP licensing agreements. Additionally, he regularly conducts IP due diligence services for private equity entities and venture capital investors.
